Το Κέντρο Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης Άμφισσας, το Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και το Μεσογειακό Γραφείο Πληροφόρησης για το Περιβάλλον, τον Πολιτισμό & την Αειφόρο Ανάπτυξη (MIO-ECSDE) σε συνεργασία με το Πρόγραμμα των Πανεπιστημίων της Βαλτικής (Baltic University Programme -BUP) διοργανώνουν το Σεμινάριο:

Τα Πανεπιστήμια & η Εκπαίδευση για την Αειφόρο Ανάπτυξη (Ε.Α.Α.), στις 24 - 28 Μαΐου 2010, στο Κέντρο Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης της Άμφισσας.

Το Σεμινάριο αποτελεί συνέχεια του επιτυχούς προγράμματος Leonardo «Κατάρτιση για την ΕΑΑ μέσα από μια διαπεριφερειακή προοπτική: «Βαλτική & Μεσόγειος » (Ουψάλα, 6-12 Οκτωβρίου 2008) καθώς και της τελευταίας συνάντησης του Δικτύου των Πανεπιστημίων της Μεσογείου για την Ε.Α.Α. (Αθήνα, 21-22 Οκτωβρίου 2009).

Το Σεμινάριο έχει ως στόχους:

1. την απόκτηση γνώσεων και δεξιοτήτων για την ενσωμάτωση της Ε.Α.Α. στις διαδικασίες, τα προγράμματα σπουδών και τις δραστηριότητες του Πανεπιστημίου, στο πλαίσιο της Δεκαετίας των Ηνωμένων Εθνών για την Ε.Α.Α. (2005-2014) και της Στρατηγικής της UNECE για την ΕΑΑ.

2. τη διερεύνηση των εννοιών «whole institute approach» και του «αειφόρου πανεπιστημίου» και

3. να προσφέρει την ευκαιρία για ανταλλαγή τεχνογνωσίας και εμπειριών για την Ε.Α.Α. αναφορικά με εκπαιδευτικές πρακτικές, πολιτικές, έρευνα, κ.λπ. μέσα από συγκεκριμένες μελέτες περιπτώσεων.

Οι συμμετέχοντες θα είναι Πανεπιστημιακό Προσωπικό (διδάσκοντες, ερευνητές, κ.ά. ) από το Πρόγραμμα των Πανεπιστημίων της Βαλτικής (BUP) και από το Δίκτυο των Πανεπιστημίων της Μεσογείου για την Ε.Α.Α.

Οι βασικοί θεματικοί άξονες του Σεμιναρίου είναι οι εξής:

Α. Αναλυτικό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών & προγράμματα του αειφόρου πανεπιστημίου.

Β. Διακυβέρνηση, διαδικασίες & κουλτούρα του αειφόρου πανεπιστημίου.

Γ. Υποδομές του αειφόρου πανεπιστημίου.
